Your Freelancer Bestie – Me, Sierra!
We never really know a moment is shaping us until there’s retrospect.
At 15 years old, journaling my sorrows and frustrations, I could’ve never known that the act of putting pen to paper was my first real practice in navigating my internal world. My journaling didn’t have an end goal to be reached. It was a path carved by curiosity, leading me to deeper insights.
Those sparks of curiosity are what got me through my hardest moments, acting as the one constant that could begin an uphill trend. And more importantly, it defined my method of processing complexity. It taught me that to understand anything, you must first learn its language. This led me past quick fixes, pulling me into the foundational languages of our nature: the nervous system’s signals, the biology of stress, the science of longevity.

That journey from personal curiosity to scientific language was later formalized by a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and a minor in biology, which built my literacy in research and taught me how to think about health on a systematic scale.

Today, I also work part-time as a Behavioral Technician in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). This hands-on experience has given me profound insight into human behavior, regulation, and the mechanics of teaching.

It's a privilege to integrate these layers of understanding into my work as a writer. This synthesis is what allows me to craft content for you that is both scientifically sound and deeply human.

I help brands and innovators translate complex science into genuine connection. With that same curious, inward-looking approach, I delve past surface level “wellness” trends to articulate the why and the how for your audience, transforming intricate information into relatable and actionable insight.
Wellness as an umbrella term looks cozy, but the rain comes in at an angle. My work focuses on the structures beneath: nervous system health and longevity. Building from the ground up, these core systems determine how we maneuver life, and how we feel while we’re doing it.
My process for you looks like:
-
Translating the science behind your work with respectful curiosity
-
Building understanding with an audience tired of jargon and idealism
-
Crafting your narrative on a foundation of reality, with a perspective that still uplifts
